Andrea was born in Helena and grew up in Bozeman. She attended Montana State University and Washington State University for her undergraduate degree. She became interested in medicine during her time as a volunteer ski patroller at Bridger Bowl, earning her EMT certification. She worked for a year in the backcountry as medical staff bringing together her two passions of the outdoors and medicine. She received her PA degree from Pacific University in Oregon in 2012. She worked in the emergency department at Hennepin County Medical Center for 5 years before returning home to Montana. Upon her return, she worked for 6 years at St Peter’s Health Urgent Care as well as one year in the emergency department. She has a passion for working with underserved populations and bringing high-quality medical care to all.
When not at work you can find her outside adventuring with her wife and dog.
