Benefits of School-Based Behavioral Health Services

Easy Access: Therapy services are available to students at Project Alternative Learning and Capital High in Helena, making it convenient for students to access the help they need without the added stress of traveling to an off-site location.

Early Intervention: Addressing mental health issues early can prevent them from escalating into more severe problems in the future.

Improved Academic Performance: A healthy mind is crucial for academic success. Therapy can help students manage stress, improve focus, and enhance their academic performance.

Better Relationships: Therapy can help students understand and manage their emotions, leading to better relationships with peers, school staff, and family members.

Reduced Stigma: By offering therapy services in school, we normalize the importance of mental health and reduce the stigma associated with seeking help.
