Laura Funk

Laura (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined PureView in August 2023 as a School-Based Behavioral Health Therapist. She graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Montana in 2017 after completing her undergraduate degree in 2011 at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Laura has worked in the mental health field since 2013 and spent the previous decade working with young children. She has been engaged in school-based mental health services since 2018. 

Laura is passionate about supporting youth and their families in our community. Her focus is on creating trust and connection to foster healing and growth. Her holistic, person-centered approach is trauma-informed and explores how systems impact and interact with individuals. She has experience working with attachment disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and other mental health conditions. Most importantly, Laura’s genuine care for her clients and their families is front and center.

Having been born overseas and spending time out of state, Laura is proud to all Montana her home. She enjoys marveling at the beauty of our state, spending time with friends and family, and trying all things crafty and creative.
