PureView COVID Testing Center

PureView COVID Testing Center is open to the public and offers free COVID-19 testing for symptomatic or contact exposure patients. Depending on your symptoms, you may be encouraged to visit a primary care provider. If you choose to schedule an appointment with a PureView provider there will be a cost associated with your primary care visit, but your COVID-19 test will still be free of charge. A sliding fee scale is available for patients who qualify. No one will be denied care due to inability to pay.

When

You do not need an appointment to receive free, drive-through testing. The testing site is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Starting January 18th, the testing site will operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

How

Tests are conducted by nasal swab. Your test is sent to the State Lab and results are received back based on priority testing. The typical wait time for test results is four to six days, but it depends on the number of tests awaiting results.

The nasal swab test is for active viral infections. We do not currently offer antibody testing.

Where

Drive-through COVID-19 testing is available at the Entry Hall, located at Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds (98 West Custer Avenue in Helena).

Please call 406.500.2044 for more information, or if you have questions. To learn more about COVID-19 and how to protect yourself, please visit the CDC’s COVID-19 resource page: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/
