Full Job Description

Under general administrative direction from the Chief Executive Officer, this position provides leadership in the creation of a vision that aligns with PureView Health Center’s organizational strategy with performance measurement initiatives and emerging national and state requirements and opportunities. This position also provides operational leadership and direction for the quality aspects of PureView’s multiple sites in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist in the development and facilitation of long-range objectives and strategic plans for PureView Health Center by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability across multiple sites

· Scan environment for business opportunities and maintains surveillance over market

· Assist in developing and monitoring profitability, productivity, and growth targets

· Provide leadership in the creation of a vision that aligns with PVHC organizational strategy with performance measurement initiatives and emerging national and state requirements and opportunities

· With the Leadership Team, plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, organizational structures, and financial analysis

· Lead the strategic planning process for the PureView Health Center, working in concert with the Leadership Team

· Collaborate with the Leadership Team to understand and identify opportunities followed by collaboration to plan and execute prioritized initiatives

· Participate as an active member of the PVHC Leadership Team, including planning, budgeting, evaluating the effectiveness of PVHC programs and services

· Monitor and report on ongoing execution of Strategic Plan across the PureView Health Center

· Manage and leads teams to prioritize and execute PureView strategy initiatives

· Drive initiatives that come out of the PureView Administrative meetings

· Develop and maintains strong relationships across the PureView Leadership Team

· Provide operational leadership and direction for the quality aspects of PureView in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Information Office, and Chief Operations Officer. This includes assisting with the development, selection, oversight, and monitoring of QI/QA measures within Value-Based Agreements with Health Plans.

· With the Leadership Team, establishes, coordinates, and maintains the performance expectations, policies and structure for Health Center employees that allows for maximum sustainable performance utilizing available resources.

· Engage the health center employees and leadership and leads the development of annual clinical priorities and the execution of Quality Improvement strategies

· Provide the Chief Executive Officer with current best practice information and direction on the clinical operations of a Federally Qualified Health Center to assist with strategic planning and operations of a high functioning and sustainable organization

· Develop and maintain internal and external performance reports, trends, data analysis, and corresponding insights to position

· Participate in state and local level meetings that will benefit PureView and support its overall objectives

· Coordinate the QI/QA Committee agendas, committee membership, and committee engagement

· Participate in other Board and Committee meetings of PureView as needed

· Represent the company and its members in a strong, positive manner with relevant stakeholders

· Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications – Experience & Education

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:

· Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Policy, Business, Marketing, or industry-related field required

· Five (5) years of experience in the industry or acting as a consultant on strategic planning projects required

· Two (2) years experience as QI/QA manager or related field required

Knowledge Skills & Abilities 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Thorough understanding of business administration, management, and business forecasting strategies and techniques

· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong supervisory and leadership skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

· Understands health information technology / Health Information Exchange including data networks, database management, and operating systems

· Must be able to recognize relevant linkages between data, improvement, and value

· Ability to articulate a vision for ambulatory/acute care measurement and develop and sustain multi-stakeholder collaboration in support of the vision of increased health and wellbeing for all in the communities we serve

· Effective group facilitation and project management skills

· Ability to analyze complex tasks, systems, and problems to determine solutions

Physical Demands  

· Duties are generally performed in a medical clinic environment where hazards and discomforts are controlled and modifiable.  This position requires the ability to stand, bend at the waist, kneel, reach over the head, talk, hear, and see.  Position requires knowledge and use of typical office equipment including telephone, copiers, fax machines, and personal computer.  Position requires frequent contact with clinic employees and occasional contact with community service agencies and citizens.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,942.00 – $72,883.00 per year
